This week was ROUGH. Meaning that it’s really REALLY hot where I live, so I’m having to move my marathon training runs earlier and earlier, so my alarm is going off at 4 am most days. So by the time I crawl into bed at night, my eyes are closing without getting a lot of reading done. *sigh* So I didn’t make a lot of progress this week, unfortunately. But here’s the update anyway!
Run Away with the Circus Reading Challenge
Menagerie: Read a book with an animal in the title: Incomplete
Big Top: Read a book with red and white on the cover: Complete!
- Destroy All Monsters by Sam J. Miller [Read the review!]
Cotton Candy: Read a light and fluffy book: Complete!
- Betraying the Billionaire by Victoria Davies [Read the review!]
Flyers: Read a book about/set in space: In Progress
- The Boy and Girl Who Broke the World by Amy Reed (oooookay, so I’m stretching on this one a bit, because I don’t think it’s aliens, but SOMETHING WEIRD is happening in the best way and I’m here for it. So I’m counting it.)
Grandstand: Read a hyped book: Incomplete
Ringmaster: Read the first book in a series or a standalone: In Progress
- The Looming Tower by Lawrence Wright
Like I said… very little progress made this week. As in, lots of things are in progress and little have been completed. But I’m here, and I’m trying, and some weeks are just like this. You know?
Read on, friends.
