It’s time for my monthly reading roundup! The month went by super fast, and I read a bunch of romances, because WHY NOT? Haha. It was a good time. So sorry for the heavy dose of romance in this recap – I read them when I’m stressed. And if you know anything about how Day Job is going, you’d understand my need for ~*rOmAnCe*~.
Here’s a reminder of the rating system for these monthly reading roundups (puppy pictures!):
Here we go!
The Best Man’s Proposal by Wynter Daniels
This could have been so good and fell flat for me. Read my full review here.

This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada
I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH. I haven’t written the review yet – I’m saving it for closer to the release date – but trust me. YOU WANT TO READ THIS. So sciencey.

The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed
This was another EXCELLENT read, and I can’t wait for it to be out in the world next month. Read my full review here.

Come Back to Me by Mila Gray
This broke my damn heart. I loved it and I’m still feeling pretty wrecked. Read my full review here.
Rating: 3 dogs petted
Acting on Impulse by Mia Sosa
In short, this book was wonderful, but I wanted more of Tori and Carter. You can read my full review here.

To Love a Scandalous Duke by Liana De La Rosa
I’m still new to regency romance, but I really liked this one. A great introduction. Read my full review here.

Stealing Home by Jennifer Seasons
Baseball romance!! I loooooove baseball. And and AND this is about a CATCHER and oh my goodness, heart eyes. Downside – not enough references to beautiful catcher thighs. Okay, so in truth, I was disappointed with this book. I’ll be writing a review next month with more details.

Stroke of Midnight by Andie J. Christopher
Sexy Cuban lawyer with sexy former Navy Seal? Oh hell yes. This was so good – it lived up to what I was hoping for exactly. Review to come!
Rating: 4 dogs petted
Stay with Me by Mila Gray
The second in the Come Back to Me series. It left me less achy than the first one, but I loved it just as much. My one complaint is a spoiler, so I can’t even say it. It’s minor, but it would have bumped it up another dog had it been slightly different! Cryptic enough for you? 🙂 Review to come!

That about does it for September! I’ve been having a really good reading year so far, and I hope it continues.
Happy October, everyone, and keep reading!
