Hey hey, it’s Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by The Broke and the Bookish, and I’ve loved making it a regular post on this blog! This week, we’re talking about books that predominately feature Latinx characters. Those of you who know me probably know that I’ve been coming to terms with my own identity as I get further into adulthood, and I love reading about characters who share parts of my identity with me. This is one of those topics, for me. This is near and dear to my heart. Representation is important, people.
So here we go! And let me tell you, I’m excited about this list.
Top 10 Books Featuring Latinx Characters
- Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova [review]
- No Good Deed by Goldy Moldavksy [review]
- The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed [review]
- Acting on Impulse by Mia Sosa [review]
- Shadowshaper by Daniel Jose Older
- They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
- Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore
- The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
- Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
- I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter by Erika L. Sánchez
I’ve read a few of these and the rest are super high on my TBR and I CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE LOVELY LATINX CHARACTERS IN MY LIFE!!
Have you read any of these? Are there any awesome books that I forgot? Let me know in the comments, or on Twitter!
Happy reading!
