Hey hey, it’s Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by The Broke and the Bookish, and I’ve loved making it a regular post on this blog! This week, we’re talking about books books I forgot I loved, which has been super fun to research and dive into. I was as big a reader as a kid and teenager as I am now, so the list could be a lot longer than ten, but I managed to narrow it down. I’m counting books I read as a kid, in high school, and in college, so it’s going to vary a lot. It was a blast from the past, I can say that much! 😀
Top 10 Older Books I Forgot I Loved
- The Babysister’s Club series by Ann M. Martin
- The Thoroughbred series by Joanna Campbell
- The Heartland series by Lauren Brooke
- Little House prequels and sequels by various authors
- Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton
- The Awakening by Kate Chopin
- The Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri
- The Brothers K by David James Duncan
- The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien
- As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
All of these books meant something very special to me when I read them. Have you read any of these? Do you have any special memories with any of these books?
Happy reading!
